Cost

In this private practice, I prioritize providing high-quality, individualized care in a safe, supportive environment.  I’ve chosen to offer services on  a private pay basis rather than billing insurance directly, and here’s why.

First, accepting insurance typically requires significant administrative overhead, including dealing with complex paperwork, approval processes, and restrictions on session frequency and treatment approaches.  Insurance companies often have stringent guidelines that may limit the flexibility and personalization of care.  By opting out of insurance reimbursement, I ensure that each client’s treatment plan is entirely guided by their unique needs and therapeutic goals, not by external mandates.

Additionally, the reimbursement rates offered by many insurance providers may not cover the full cost of delivering these high-quality services.  Insurance reimbursement often falls below the level needed to sustain the practice and support the high standards of care you deserve.  Unfortunately, the cost difference can undermine the resources I have to spend on ongoing training, provisions of a comfortably convenient delivery of virtual services, and advanced therapeutic tools that directly benefit you.

By maintaining a private pay-only model, I am able to invest fully in your experience – ensuring that time, energy, and resources go directly into treatment rather than administrative tasks.  I deeply appreciate each your investment in your mental health, and this model allows me to provide the most effective, personalized, and responsive care possible.

$175 – traditional 50-minute session

This practice is not credentialed with any commercial insurance product.  I can and will provide the client with an invoice commonly referred to as a “superbill” that the client can submit to their insurance on their own accord to try and obtain reimbursement for Out-of-Network benefit coverage.  It is crucial to understand that you must have Out-of-Network benefits for your insurance to consider this option, and even if you do and submit a “superbill” it is not guaranteed that your insurance will accept and reimburse you.  Traditional Medicare Part B is different than commercial insurance and if you have Medicare Part B, private pay is not an option.  Medicare Part B does not allow its beneficiaries to privately pay; Medicare Part B has to be billed for services and the client is responsible for the copay.

Payment will be secured prior to session beginning.  Additional details can be found in the preliminary treatment consent forms found here.
